2023 Wellness University programs for fall 2023
White Horse Village announces fall course offerings for the 2023 Wellness University, a lifelong learning program to improve wellness knowledge and practices. The program features presentations from team members, residents, and numerous guest speakers.
Developed internally by Wellness and Healthcare team members, Wellness University offers a comprehensive array of unlimited and relevant educational programs addressing wellness in all its dimensions: emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational.
The fall semester runs from September 7th to December 13th and includes courses such as:
SEPTEMBER:
- Liz Wanner, Chinese Medicine Workshops Class #1: Heart/Small Intestine (4 Credits): Thursday, September 7th @ 1:00 pm (Wellness Center Multi-Purpose Room)
- Kathleen Forrest, Bayada PT: Fall Prevention (3 Credits): Thursday, September 21st @ 2:00 pm (Auditorium)
- Cheryl Wilks, Craft and Flower Workshops Press Flower Permanent Pumpkin & More (4 Credits): Friday, September 22nd @ 1:30 pm (Auditorium)
- Elizabeth Streit, Zumba Gold Chair (4 Credits): Tuesday, September 26th @ 2:00 pm (Auditorium)

Wellness University participants earn bachelor’s degrees with 30 credits in one dimension and master’s degrees with 30 credits in all seven dimensions. The majority of the courses are offered at no cost. All residents, resident guests and family, Priority Club participants, Springton Lake Village residents, and team members are eligible to participate in the program.
