A community update regarding COVID-19
Dear White Horse Village Community,
We continue to conduct weekly testing for both Canterbury skilled nursing residents and team members in accordance with the CDC and Department of Health recommendations. On June 24, we had one Canterbury resident test positive for COVID-19; this is the only positive case in the community.
Weekly facility-wide testing will continue in Canterbury until we reach 14 days with no positive results; at that time, we will reduce testing to 20% of both residents and team members.
Since there have been no positive cases of COVID-19 in Bridlewood personal care over the past three weeks, we will continue testing 20% of Bridlewood residents and team members weekly.
We are working with families to schedule outside visits to loved ones residing in our Healthcare Center. Visitors are allowed to visit residents in residential homes, but visitors are not permitted in our common space areas, including the Clubhouse and campus grounds. Residents are required to wear masks with visitors indoors and when participating in events outside.
We encourage everyone to continue following safety protocols, including practicing physical distancing of 6 feet, wearing face masks, washing hands frequently, and keep hands away from face and eyes.
Please email questions to Covid19Questions@whitehorsevillage.org.
With warm regards,
Len Weiser, President & CEO
