What is CARF accreditation?

White Horse Village is proud to be a CARF-accredited community.

Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services including senior living.

The CARF accreditation process starts with a provider’s commitment to continuous quality improvement, a focus on efficiency and fiscal health, and the active involvement of persons served by creating a foundation for high customer satisfaction. The process culminates with an external review and recognition that the provider’s business and service practices meet international standards of quality. Providers that meet CARF standards have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best providers in the industry.
