Outdoor Recreation

Explore the great outdoors

With nearly 100 acres of gardens, meadows, and woodlands, our campus offers plenty of walking trails, biking paths, birding areas, and all the wonders of nature! For additional outdoor adventures, our active seniors head next door to Ridley Creek State Park, offering 2,606 acres of recreation including excellent fishing.

A Healthy Senior Lifestyle

In 2016, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society presented White Horse Village with the Blue Ribbon Award for community gardens. Our community garden is popular among residents, and White Horse Village chefs, who enjoy the bounty of fresh produce and flowers.

Additional outdoor recreation activities on campus include a nine-hole putting green, shuffleboard, croquet, children’s playground, and bocce court.
