Our response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
UPDATED – 3/12/2020
The health, safety, and well-being of residents, caregivers, and families are always top priorities at White Horse Village. With the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the news and on the minds of many, here are some of the proactive measures we’re taking.
Temporary visitor restrictions
Effective immediately, all areas of the Healthcare Center are closed to visitors and volunteers.
We ask that family members and friends refrain from visiting the Healthcare Center except in cases of extreme hardship to help us protect our residents living here. The Healthcare Center includes:
- Bridlewood Personal Care
- Four Seasons Memory Support
- Canterbury Skilled Nursing
In addition, all volunteer activity in the Healthcare Center is suspended until further notice.
This decision has been made as a result of guidance issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and the recommendation of our medical director.
Although there are NO suspected cases of COVID-19 in our community, we are taking every precaution to respond to this serious public health concern.
Daily monitoring of updates put forth by government health departments and agencies
Our senior leadership and medical teams are closely monitoring all evidence-based information updates, guidelines, and recommendations as they are provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Pennsylvania state and local health departments. As new information becomes available we will provide further updates.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work together to keep our community healthy and safe!
