White Horse Village Announces a Master Plan

The plan includes extensive campus renovations and new construction

The White Horse Village Board of Directors has approved a multi-year Master Plan featuring a range of enhancements and new construction across the 96-acre campus. The plan will invest $95 million over the next five years and strengthen White Horse Villages’ solid reputation as a premier nonprofit senior housing and healthcare community in the Philadelphia region.

The Master Plan is the culmination of a three-year effort to gather input from market data, industry experts, and focus groups to assess priorities for improvements to provide exceptional senior living experiences. The plan currently includes the following:

  • New Healthcare Center
  • New independent living residences
  • Renovation of the clubhouse areas
  • Updates to existing residences
  • Expansion of the fitness center, outdoor recreation, auditorium, dining venues, and Tavern

“At White Horse Village, we are passionate about leading the way in innovative living,” remarks Len Weiser, President & CEO. “The multimillion-dollar plan will transform our campus and services to meet the evolving desires in senior living preferences.”

The Master Plan features a mix of short-term and long-term enhancements. Current residents will benefit immediately from Master Plan improvements in 2021 with new exterior facelifts on select residences. The next step in the planning process includes developing architectural schematic designs. White Horse Village will publish regular updates on the progress of their Master Plan to the website whitehorsevillage.org.
