White Horse Village Announces New Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Mark Wasserman

White Horse Village welcomes Mark Wasserman as the new Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He brings 26 years of experience to his new role at the active senior living community.

Wasserman served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Abramson Center, a regional provider of a continuum of geriatric healthcare services, for nine years, where he oversaw Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, Materials Management and Plant Operations functions.

Previously, Wasserman held the role of Vice President of Development with a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), where he led redevelopment projects. He also worked for two of the big four public accounting firms.

“Mark joins White Horse Village as we have embarked on a strategic plan that includes master planning, a commitment to enhancing services to those we serve and an exploration of additional services to older adults outside of the community,” comments Len Weiser, President & CEO. “His vast knowledge and experience will help ensure our financial success today and into the future.”

Wasserman holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
