The White Horse Villager Knitter’s Group, pictured above, donated 23 twelve-inch heart-shaped pillows to Family Support Line, a Delaware County Children’s Advocacy Center program to help children and families address the trauma of child sexual abuse. The fabric for the project was donated to the Knitter’s Group by resident Pat Moore.

From the left are resident Pat Moore, Nicole Snyder of Family Support Line, and resident Sophia Fooskas, organizer of the Knitter’s Group, with the donated pillows.

Resident knitter Sheila Sheehan’s daughter Frances Sheehan, President of The Foundation for Delaware County, suggested donating the pillows to Family Support Line. Development Director Nicole Snyder visited campus to meet the group and collect the pillows, which will arrive just in time for Valentine’s Day.
