White Horse Village Foundation partners with local nonprofits to expand charitable giving programs

White Horse Village Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, announces partnerships with The Foundation for Delaware County and Philadelphia Foundation to expand its portfolio of giving programs. The partners’ expertise will expand legacy-giving offerings, including charitable gift annuities and personalized estate planning.
“The carefully selected nonprofit partners are both well-known, well-respected, and well-capitalized organizations that many residents are familiar with and may already support,” remarks Robert J. Bruce, resident and White Horse Village Foundation board chair. “They will provide underwriting and administration support for new charitable giving products.”
The first donor product introduced by the White Horse Village Foundation is charitable gift annuities, which offer individuals the ability to support a charity while financially benefiting themselves with tax deductions and guaranteed income for life.
“Through endowment funds established with each partner, we can create customized giving programs tailored to meet the financial needs of our donors,” shares Susan Abtouche, Executive Director of the White Horse Village Foundation. “Our goal is to grow the membership of our Legacy Society, which recognizes the generous, forward-thinking donors who have included White Horse Village in their estate plans.”
The Foundation for Delaware County works with individuals and families, private foundations, nonprofits, and businesses to benefit and strengthen Delaware County. The Philadelphia Foundation strengthens the economic, social, and civic vitality of Greater Philadelphia.
“In addition to offering much needed-legal and administrative resources, the partnerships will minimize the risk to our Foundation’s financial resources due to market instabilities,” comments Norm Ledwin, resident and Foundation board member.
