White Horse Village Team Members Receive Scholarships from LeadingAge PA

White Horse Village announces team members Gina Bakey and Emily Leaman are recipients of LeadingAge PA education scholarships. The trade association, representing more than 360 nonprofit senior housing, health care, and community services across the commonwealth, awards $27,000 in scholarships to senior service professionals committed to furthering their education and professional development. 

Gina Bakey, Housekeeper, is dedicated to ensuring residences are clean, safe and comfortable. She is quick to lend a hand and possesses an excellent rapport with residents. In addition to her full-time job, Gina is pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State World Campus. She has also received an education scholarship from the White Horse Village Endowment Fund. 

Emily Leaman, Director of Environmental Services, supports campus-wide housekeeping services, landscaping and residential unit turnover processes. Her previous roles include Maintenance Coordinator and Housekeeping Manager. Emily completed a year-long leadership development program with LeadingAgePA in 2019 and is pursuing a degree in Project Management from Colorado State University-Global.
